0.1.6-beta1 EXPERIMENTAL LIMITS Hardware evidence is bounded to one device and the performed tests. No universal heavy-strip/effect workload, external MIDI rig, overnight soak or power-loss guarantee is claimed. Sparse playback added no dropouts; one pre-existing dropout had unknown cause/time. Two arrangement cycles were reported clean by ear. Autosave: the separate fix is NOT merged. For external MIDI sessions, stop the DAW, set AUTOSAVE OFF, allow its final preference save, then save manually between takes. Flash erase can interrupt audio; unsaved edits can be lost on power-off. Compatibility: 9-32-bar or Scale-mode saves may be rejected by older firmware. Keep a pre-update project backup and sample WAVs separately. Project backup omits sample audio, calibration and the separate reusable strip-default bank. No new-to-old project restore or complete device restore qualification is claimed. Blocks repeat stored patterns; they do not create 32 bars of unique step storage. Lanes remain at 64 steps. Block boundaries follow four-quarter musical bars, not the alignment of all unequal lane loops. Base sounds/strips/FX remain shared; duplicating sequencing data does not duplicate independent sound presets. Structural block copy/delete/Undo is stopped-only. Undo means latest undoable edit, not always deletion. Manual queueing changes blocks at a musical bar boundary. No random/weighted arrangement or independent song/preset library is added. The browser sampler is separate from firmware. Its markers help find hits, not separate overlapping instruments. A selected snare workflow was accepted; arbitrary libraries, MIDI velocity control and every browser have not been qualified. Marker exports carry cuts/timing only; per-slice envelope/level is saved in review projects. No direct native sampler upload, USB recording or raw REX decoding. Historical timing/processing limitations from the previous experimental release remain relevant. Do not treat this build as a fix for all jitter or heavy-load audio.
